Travel Program

In Search of the Bean Travel Series
Join us as we trek around the world in search of the best cacao beans!  Cocoa beans are only found 20 degrees above and below the equator, so this travel series will explore such exotic locations as Africa, Asia, Central and South America.  Are you adventurous and ready to begin a chocolate adventure around the globe?

Trip #1

Venezuela: Gem of the Caribbean
February 18 - 28, 2008
On this 10 day adventure to experience the charm of Venezuela, we visited the village of Chuao, touted by experts as producing the best cacao beans in the world! We learned how these beans are used to manufacture the world's most extraordinary chocolate! We enjoyed walks along pristine beaches, tried our hand at snorkeling, and spent some leisurely days on the sand. Private boat trips whisked us off to exotic locations to experience authentic Venezuelan culture and jungle bird watching adventures.
